HANDBAG PRODUCTIONS

Mealah Heidenreich built her foundation in technical theater at Minnesota State University, Mankato. She has been propping in Chicago and surrounding areas since 2008. Mealah has designed, obtained and secretly borrowed props for Handbag’s productions of Caged Dames, The Birds 2014 and Rudolph the Red Hosed Reindeer 2014. Some of her past and continuing prop designs can be found at Light Opera Works, Redtwist Theatre, Interrobang Theatre Project and Pegasus Theatre Chicago. In between prop gigs, you may see Mealah performing around town with Artemis Singers. She also spends time profusely thanking Isaac Loomer for being the muscly man in her life who helps her carry props five times her size.
